Unshakeable Faith | Part 2
It is reported that before Muhammad died he said “I don’t know the purpose of life”. Before Buddha died he said “Seek for the truth”. Before Confucius died he said “I am not the way”. However before Jesus died he said “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.
Jesus is the only one who rose from the dead. The other three are still in the grave. The post-resurrection Holy Spirit inspired stories in the book of Acts almost take my breath away. One of my favorites is the Lord opening the doors of the jail and setting the Apostles free in Acts chapter 5. Then he says, “ Go stand in the temple courts and tell the people the full message of this new life”. At daybreak they entered the temple courts as they had been told and began to teach the people.
Faith stories inspire us! My great niece Helen who is eleven years old recently visited the “Asbury Outpouring”. She said it was the best night of my life. I loved it. When Helen’s family heard about the Outpouring at Asbury they cancelled their weekend plans, loaded up their RV and drove about 10 hours to Kentucky to witness the move of the Holy Soirit for themselves. While there Helen says God miraculously healed her from Celiac disease and Eosinophils Esophagitis. As a person prayed for Helen she felt a tingling in her hands and feet, actually throughout her whole body. It was beautiful, it was so simple but it felt holy. If you are interested in the full story go to the March 27th edition of the 700 club.
Yes stories of healing are still happening today. I don’t understand or have all the answers about healing. But in the words of the late Pastor Chuck Smith, I’m not willing to trade what I do know for what I don’t know.
I know Helen is rejoicing in her healing and her faith is unshakable.
If you need a miracle let Helen’s story inspire you with Hope and Unshakable Faith.
And that’s Hope on the rise for now!
